Build your career with a well-known employment law firm operating nationwide. Exciting matters and a collegial environment await you.
Our requirements
Our clients expect first-class advisory services. You are a good fit if you are an excellent lawyer and enjoy taking on challenges and achieving success for our clients. You should be fluent in business English.
Beyond these standard requirements, two aspects are particularly important to us, derived from our advisory approach of “Employment law for entrepreneurs.”
“Employment law for entrepreneurs” first means that you have a genuine interest in the subject matter of employment law in all its facets. This includes not only a willingness to work with legal depth, but also an understanding of the significance employment law issues have for our clients, as well as the ability to communicate employment law topics and contribute them effectively in negotiations.
“Employment law for entrepreneurs” also means that we not only advise entrepreneurs, but are entrepreneurs ourselves. It is therefore essential that you recognize and take an interest in commercial contexts and consider them, alongside legal solutions, in your day-to-day work on matters. An entrepreneur does not merely react, but acts – bringing their personality and initiative to bear. We expect this as well.
What we offer
We know that we must provide meaningful value in return for the standards we expect – something that goes beyond competitive compensation and the usual basics.
We offer you a role in a respected employment law firm operating nationwide, which made a name for itself within a short time of its founding and is recognized accordingly. But we are not satisfied with that. We want to continue growing and further expand our market presence. We offer you the opportunity to actively contribute to achieving these ambitions.
Training for junior lawyers initially takes place in day-to-day work on matters. Close collaboration, especially at the beginning, is important to us so that you do not feel left on your own and can benefit from our experience and knowledge in handling employment law matters. You will not work on matters in a so-called “back office.” Instead, we train you to become confident and excellent at independently managing matters.
We invest not only in training, but also in continuing education. As a partnership whose name includes the designation “Specialist Attorneys for Employment Law,” we want you to earn this title as well. We cover the costs of the theoretical part of the specialist attorney course. Once you are entitled to use the title, we also cover the costs of the required continuing education.
You will work on exciting matters. They are “exciting” not only because we represent well-known companies, but also because employment law always involves people. Few other fields are shaped as strongly by ongoing negotiations – especially with employees, works councils, or trade unions – as employment law. That is also what makes our matters “exciting” beyond the purely legal.
We are not “lone wolves”; rather, we enjoy the kind of collaboration that is only possible in a collegial environment. It is important to us that everyone enjoys coming to work. We never lose sight of the need to create an atmosphere conducive to collaboration. In this context, we recognize that issues such as “career and family” and a healthy “work-life balance” are becoming increasingly important for individual satisfaction. We do not merely acknowledge this; we actively strive to meet the needs associated with it. We have therefore already successfully implemented part-time work and parental leave for both male and female attorneys alike, and we will continue to seek individualized solutions in this regard in the future.
We offer the prospect of advancing to partner. This perspective is available to individuals who are passionate about employment law, highly qualified, and who drive the firm’s development with an entrepreneurial approach.
Collaboration across locations is important to us – first because we advise and represent clients nationwide, and second because cross-office personal and professional exchange opens additional perspectives. Upon request, we offer temporary work at one of our other offices.
Through our international network ELLINT, there may also be an opportunity to work temporarily in an office abroad.
